Authored by Jon Barker, Pop Goes The GMail (PGtGM) basically retrieves your web based GMail using your POP3 client such as Outlook Express. PGtGM needs to be running in the background in order to check and receive mail, but it's a small price to pay for such a convenience. The download is small (just over 200KB) and contains just 2 files. It can sit in a folder without the need to install. As with any utility such as this, there's always a risk of someone using it to steal your login info. This is why I suggest downloading it from the source, instead of a link found on some web site.
